How GTM Labs produces, reviews and corrects the content of its guides and tools.

This policy applies to every digital product operated by GTM Labs:

Why the content exists

Each product exists to help a person make a decision: which beach is worth it today, which area to stay in, when to go, which piece of furniture fits a small space. The content is written for that decision, not to fill pages.

Sources and data

The beach decision tools use data from public and official sources, such as weather and ocean forecasts and water quality reports from environmental agencies. Whenever possible, the page says where each piece of data comes from.

The destination guides start from verifiable sources: official information from destinations, businesses and lodging platforms, and reviews published by guests.

The home guides start from the specifications and measurements given by manufacturers and stores, the reviews published by buyers and the seller's data.

Use of automation and AI

The products use automation and artificial intelligence to collect, organize and write part of the content.

The data comes from the sources declared in this policy. All content is reviewed and remains the responsibility of the responsible editor, like any other text in the product.

Product recommendations

The products recommended in the home guides are not physically tested. They are chosen by their specifications, measurements and buyer reviews, comparing the options for the problem of each page: the space available, the use and the price range.

When a page describes what it is like to use a product, that comes from the reviews of people who bought it, not from a test of ours.

Price, stock and conditions change at the store without notice. What the store page says at the time of purchase always prevails.

Independence

Hotels, inns, tours, stores, brands and partners do not pay to appear in the products or to change the order in which they appear.

Some links are affiliate links and may earn a commission, but the commission does not decide what is recommended. The choice of a beach, an area, a place to stay or a product comes from the criteria of each guide. The details are in the Affiliate disclosure.

Updates

The beach tools are updated as the sources publish. The guides are reviewed when the information changes or when someone points out an error. In the home guides, store links are checked every week, and a product that is no longer available is replaced or removed.

Limits of the information

The content is informational and does not replace official warnings or the seller's information. These always prevail:

  • The instructions of lifeguards, flags and signs at the beach.
  • Alerts from Civil Defense and environmental agencies.
  • Conditions confirmed directly with hotels, tours and services before booking.
  • The measurements, price and availability given by the store before buying.

Corrections

Found an error, outdated data or incomplete information in any GTM Labs product? Write through the contact page (in Portuguese, but you can write in English), saying which page and what is wrong. Every message is read, and the page itself is corrected as soon as the error is confirmed.
